Willesden Jewish Cemetery Tour

Elbie Lebrecht leads this leisurely walk around Willesden’s tranquil, 19th-century Jewish cemetery. A surprising number of artists – from royal portraitists to pulp fiction illustrators – have found their final resting place here, including Victorian painter Simeon Solomon, artist and suffragette Lily Delissa Joseph and Maximilian Eberstadt, secretary to the merchant banker Ernest Joseph Cassel, whose grave was designed by Pre-Raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones.
