Autumn Issue Launch: Jewish Lithuania

As the war in Ukraine focuses the world's attention onto the Baltic region, we head to Lithuania, a rich and ancient hub of Jewish culture, whose capital was once considered the 'Jerusalem of the North'. We'll be hearing from Richard Schofield, the director of the International Centre for Litvak Photography; Milda Jakulyte, chief curator at the Lost Shtetl Museum; art writer Monica Bohm-Duchen, who will discuss Kaunas, where an exhibition is currently on display of work by her mother, the photographer Dorothy Bohm; Lara Lempertienė head of the Judaica Research Centre; and from the Lithuanian activists helping to revive this historic community.
